My psp screen is doing wierd things?

when i turn My PSP on it sometimes goes blank but you can hear sound i normally just turn it on and off but i have to do that for 1/2 an hour for it to work what is wrong and how can i fix it plz i need help

Lcd screen is bad make sure the psp is fully charged and sounds on off

you might have to replace the LCD screeen.
