  1. Don't you have a door? Tell your dog to sit (and put her into the sit position) a couple of centimeters away from the door and try to walk into the 'loo'. DON'T RUN! Or else your dog will think it's a game. If he tries to follow you put him back in the sit position. He should eventually learn that when you go to the loo he should sit and wait. Don't do this when you are bursting!

  2. Let him sit outside of the door. Give him a toy to play with.

  3. Close the door when you go to the bathroom?

  4. Haha that's hilarious, and yes, my dogs both do the same thing if I leave the door open!  And if I shut the door, they sit outside and lean against it!  Dogs are pack animals by nature and they want to be with their pack -- have you ever noticed your dog following you around the house in general?  Mine do that a lot :-)  Just shut the door if it weirds you out, but remember, he's just a dog, he doesn't think anything of it!

  5. You can close the door after you enter ther bathroom but at the same time you go enter, then when he crosses the line and goes into the bathroom.. for example give him a command: say NO! or sth like that..  if he obeys  give him a treat.. if he doesnt  try to do it all over again  until he learns not to enter the bathroom.

  6. Why is this a problem?  He's just a dog and hasn't a clue that this is a private function.  Or - amazing but true - you could just close the door.
