Question:

My puppy has a mohawk, is my rockin' the cause for what's on his noggin'?

My pup, Alaska, is a Chiwawa/Pitbull with brown fur, BUT he has a golden (completely natural) mohawk looking run that runs from his, uh, forehead to the back of his head.

It's a PERFECT diamond shaped and doesn't touch his ears.

I've heard dogs tend to share attitudes their owners can, can attitudes affect their look?

Is this mowhawk look healthy? and most, MOST, importantly, isn't it awesome adorable!!? :D

  1. I think you just got lucky that you have such a hardrock puppy.  It's completely natural and is something to be treasured. My dog, a Field Spaniel, has one too, but it's called a topknot and is characteristic of the breed. Most people shave it off, because it's not allowed on the show ring, but some like me choose to keep it, because it's so insanely cool.  Most liver Field Spaniels grow a top knot that grows into a blonde mohawk.
