My puppy has no fear of heights?

I have 8wk old chihuahua girl and she has no fear - sensible fear of heights. She just jumps of anything and then cries like crazy. today she jumped off a chair before I had a chance to catch her. I'm really worried she will break something... Is that normal??

they are like kids they have no fear, until they get hurt. Yes the pup can get hurt. Silly as they are.

thats why you never leave either alone un attendend.

Mine was a little wild like that at first.  Soon she stopped all the jumping.  Now that she is a couple years older she jumps but knows her limit.  Guess they just have to learn on their own.

Puppies are like children.  They have no fear of anything.  Please do yourself and your puppy a favor and don't let her jump off the couch, bed or whatever.  They have tiny bones in their legs and can break a bone very easily.  If you can't watch or hold her don't let her up there unless you want to put the poor little darlin in lots of pain and want a really high Vet bill.

chihuahua puppies are incredibly fragile and she has a high chance of breaking her leg or even her neck! Do not let her up on furniture unless you are holding her then place her down gently.

Dogs have no idea they can hurt themselves and no they won't learn on their own!

They learn, trust me. My dog jumped off a desk when she was a puppy.

Does she also get stepped on too? She'll learn in time.
