My puppy is bald... ?

Question

she's an eleven week old teacup chihuahua. she was the runt of the litter and she has absolutely NO hair on the top of her head. its completely bald. she also keeps her tongue halfway hung out of her mouth. is there something wrong with her or is that just a little querk?

she is still young my friends chihuahua is like 2 and has no hair. that is just the way it is. and for th tongue thing I think she is to " weak " i guess yo would say to keep her tounge inside.

She is the runt of a teacup litter so that explains it all, obviously the runt is weaker than the rest and can sometimes have problems. Did you check her pedigree? she may have been inbred which is not unusual with miniatures in any breed

So you basically bought a teacup?

Maybe she will grow hair later on but I would take her to a groomer

and ask them.

And about the toungue..She might be mentally challenged like the girl Megan's dog from I love Money

You need to get professional advice, not advice from yahoo answers. She could have a mental disorder, or a nerve disorder. Get her to a vet.

you bought an unhealthy runt puppy from an irresponsible breeder.. what do you expect?  She probably has a poor bite, or some other mouth deformity that causes the tongue to hang out..  and the hairloss is either thyroid or just poor genetics.

Hope you have money saved up for vet bills.

get it to a vet asap, that looks nothing like a healthy pup to me. Why are people so stupid to buy into this 'teacup' dog thing? - breeding these poor specimins is just cruel.
