My puppy is bored??? what can we do?

Shes a puppy; toy poodle<3 hah. im just on the computer here and shes bored to death laying on the floor. its 10:00pm so we cant leave the house or go anywhere. what can we do????

ok throw her something or put her in your lap and pet her we you are in the computer i do that all the time and she lke it

Get another dog. Thats what we did now out border collie scarlet just loves her friend.She got bored because our cat died (ages ago) and they were friends. I could also suggest a soccer ball connected to a pole. She could just kick it around with her head. Or toy sausages. They love them

Give her a toy to play with. I work on the computer and play fetch with our puppy at the same time.

Give her some puzzles to solve. Hide dog treats around the room. Start with easy things, like under a paper cup. Then put some treats in a cardboard box and fold the flaps shut. I used to do this with my dog when he was a rowdy puppy. It will keep her busy, and most puppies enjoy a challenge!

How about giving her a &#039;doggie job&#039;  ?  Dogs love nothing more than to please us and dogs really love having something to do.  Think of some tricks that are within her abilities.  Like the usual roll over, dance.  But even get creative.  Teach her to bring you the paper.  To pick up a pen that you&#039;ve dropped and give it to you.  Teach her to put a piece of paper or something in the garbage pail.  What would you enjoy teaching her?  She would have a wonderful time inter-acting with you, and you&#039;ll have a wonderful time discovering how clever she really is.  All that is required of you is patience and consistency, and more patience and love, uhhh and more patience :_D

a toy is a great idea.  My dog loves her Kong chew toy.  She&#039;s had it for years, and above all others this remains her favorite.

Kongs even let you put peanut butter in them, which might help get your dog excited.
