My puppy is getting spayed in a month. She will be a little older then 5 months..?

  1. She should be fine. :3 Keep her from chewing/l*****g the stitches, she may be a little less energetic and her appetite might be smaller than normal.

    NO one should be able to have a dog that's not fixed without a license... I've no idea why you feel upset about having her fixed. Lord knows pet overpopulation is horrid.

Not much, at that age they barely notice it, she may be a bit slower for a few days but my pit had no problems, i actually had to keep her calm so she didn't bust a stitch, but after the surgery just make sure they eat, and follow all of the vets directions, there may be a follow up a few weeks later to remove stitches, just make sure to inspect the wound every now and again and give her lots of love

  3. I have a dog that isn't fixed so...the only thing you can really expect is to take care of the surgery site to make sure it doesn't get infected and to allow your pup lots of rest.
