My puppy just had a kennel cough booster, she now has red swollen eyes.?

I rang the vet and she said that it is a reaction to the vaccination. how long will it take to go down? will this effect her long term.

they never informed me about any common side effects.

There is a great group on yahoo.com called The Truth about Vaccines.  Check it out; there is a lot of great info there.

Also do an internet search on "dangers of vaccinations".  There is much to be learned about the common annual vaccines.  Many vets are changing their protocols.

Hopefully you can educate yourself before this happens again.  Good luck with your dog.  I am so sorry that this happens over and over to pet owners who are just trying to do the best for their animals.

They should have but all vaccinations have side effects, it shouldn't take long to go down depending on when the vaccination was!
