This will be a VERY long trip on bus, it takes over ten hours to drive, and by bus I would imagine it would take at least twelve or thirteen.  While trains can be more expensive, if you're trying to get the most out of a trip you're taking, I'd recommend a train.  Since it's quite a distance, you'll be paying about 100 euro.

we did lourdes from spain and then took an overnight train to Paris, this way you sleep and it doesn't feel long.
