I don't have much info to give because I only saw the last part of the program about 10 years ago on cable.I have never forgot it though.I loved it because I am an independent film maker who thrives on history.Mostly it is because my brother who is a university history and art professor brought me up to love that kind of thing.
What I saw was a story about an early long haired,reddish,Star wars Chewbacca,Bigfoot looking man/missing link who was just doing his thing walking around (I think) Africa and exploring his world.The one thing I remember was that he had no food at one point. He set down almost starving and found some mushrooms.He ate them and funny enough,tripped out and learned a new way of seeing the world.As I remember it ended when he came to the ocean and saw some other peoples foot prints.I have no idea of the name of this film and have never had.
I know this is a very small bit of movie info to ask info on but someone out there has to read this and instantly ring a bell in their head.
If you have no idea what I am talking about then don't email me and say you don't know an answer because that is just lame and a waste of everyone's time.
I hope someone knows what I am talking about because it was a very interesting film to me.Thank you.
