My question is about product traceability ?

my name is Al,,i work in an factory manufacturing mobile accessories for the phone industry,,my problem is keeping track of the parts as they move through the production line? We use a leather type fabric for the phone cases and can easily track it from warehouse to cutting by keeping all the parts to-gether in a box,,when we reach the production lines we then have to join 2 pieces to-gether with glue which we then put through a heating tunnel to dry,,if we use bar code it would leave a glue mark on the finished case or even make it a defect ,,,,need a solution on what to use as a tracking system

Stop tracking individual phone cases.  Instead track batches of phone cases.

Make up artificial batches of, say a dozen, phone cases.  When the cases are put on the line to run through the heating tunnel put a marker with the bar code at each end of the batch.
