Question:

My question is regarding online homeschool in Indiana... I am having quite a difficult time finding anything..

so recently i withdrew from public school to do online highschooling... i am currently in 9th grade... my mother tells me she doesn't want to have to deal with it and i need to find everything myself by this wednesday or she is sending me back to public school.... okay everything people have been sending me which has been helpful... has just told me Indiana isn't participating in the online homeschool program... I don't know exactly want to do... if someone could assist me when step my step instructions that would be greatly appreciated

extra helpful details:

i want an actual accredited diploma

i live in indiana

i'm in 9th grade

i am very focused on my education

i want everything completely online

any help would be great =]

  1. Go to www.pennfoster.com, its kind of expensive but i did it and i graduated to, so you could try there!


  2. K12.com tried to start an online school (not officially homeschooling - it's virtual *public* schooling) this year, but then the government or state school board - or both decided against it.  They don't want to approve online charter schools.

    You can do K12 as an independent HS'er and purchase it yourself.  The courses are $350/semester/course.  The curriculum is accredited, but you won't get an official school diploma, b/c you'd be homeschooling.  In that case, your parent issues you a diploma.

    There are many colleges that have online courses - U of MO, U of NE, and others.
