My questions is can elements be destroyed ?

I may be on the edge of new scientific discoveries learning about elements.

Depends on what you mean when you say "destroyed." If you mean "destroyed" as in demolishing a building then sure elements can be "destroyed" in nuclear processes. If you mean "destroyed" as in making an element completely cease to exist then no that's not possible. Matter can be converted to other forms of matter or to energy but it cannot be destroyed.

It depends. In theory a blackhole will do it for you. But you cannot destroy an element. Unless you are dealing with radioactive decay but they just makes a new element does not really destroy them.
