My "friend" ruined my life.?

My life is miserable. My best friend just dumped me to be in the more popular mom group. I am about ten years older than these people. I just don't fit in. I can't believe my friend left me. I lost my temper one day for five minutes with her and she created this scene and painted me like a monster to the other moms. Now I am shunned at my children's school. To make matters worse I am supposed to run the book fair in a few weeks. Now my friends are all gone and I am going to look like a complete loser again. I feel like I am in the twilight zone I swear. My former friend ruined my life and made it look like I am unstable.

  1. ok im a teenager in highschool and this sounds very immature... like highschool drama. i mean seriously you're a mother? aren't you adults supposed to be mature? if you dont get along with the other mothers than so what? be your own person.... just act like a mother would

  2. You need to apologize to her for losing your temper, even if it was only for five minutes. and you need to forgive her for recking what she did. If you think that these other women think you're unstable remember that they know that they themselves have lost if a few times..show them that you are.. And don't feel like a loser.

  3. I'm sorry for you. However, how am I supposed to answer you? Is this a question?

Anyway, you should make new friends. Your old friend sounds dumb anyway. Talk to the teachers. Teachers are always nice.

  4. well y don't u just apologize to her nd try nd make her understand what happened or move to a new town and make new friends there lol

my 1st point probably is the best point haha

  5. Lol pwned.

  6. No one can ruin your life unless you LET them. Why not take this time you have to yourself to look at your life and see what, if anything, you can do to improve it. Start to think about your life on your own terms. You don't really need those people around you especially if they make you feel negative about yourself.

Try to build the confidence to organise the bookfair your own way, do a good job of it and your confidence will start to return.

    All the best!

  7. That's too bad. If the situation is as you say it is, then you didn't really lose much, since who wants to hang out with harpies like that? Their kids won't be good friends to your kids, either, because their values will be skewed.

However, there's also the possibility that your view is skewed. I don't know you or them. You must ask yourself if you really ARE unstable and you have an anger management problem or are behaving unreasonably in some way.

  8. Wow!!! You probably need to sit down and have a conversation with this "friend" and let her know that you probably shouldn't have did what you did but what she did she shouldn't have done either. Most importantly pray about it.God Bless.  :)

  9. You were just hurt that she did something like that to you. I would talk with her and express to her why you reacted the way you did. Who cares about what the next person thinks of you. Don't hold a grudge with her b/c of this. She probably didn't expect for you to do something like that in front of a crowd of people as well.

Think about her feelings and how she felt. I think you should talk with her. I think you should apologize for reacting that way and ask her not to continue to be mad at you.

Unless  you just do not want to be her friend anymore, then I would still apologize for the way you reacted. At least that will be off your conscious. Don't worry about what the next person thinks of you, as long as you know who you are and love yourself, then continue on with life. It was just a bad experience.

At least you know how to handle it next time. Hope this helped.

  10. people do that for attention and if this was a friend, they wouldn't do things to intentionally hurt you...
