My rabbit's nail was ripped off

My rabbit's nail was ripped off by accident. It was bleeding and I applied aspirin into bleeding area. It is stopped bleeding but my rabbit keep leaking the bleeding area a lot. Will the aspirin powder that I applied to his wound harm him. Do i need to take him to the vet?
