  1. i would just tell her that it went to heven to eat all the good carrots and things that rabbits like. then maby get a new pet and takeher with you to get it. that would be fun for her and take her mind off the rabbit.she'll forget real fast.

  2. i would be honest. if you say it is dead because it was its time to go... as in life and death, make a big deal of how it is happy where he is now :D

Dont lie, only awkward questions follow... she wont like you for that.

    Hope it helps

  3. Buy a new one exactly the same :)

  4. tell them that he went with his family to a nice place with a lot of grass where he is very happy there, but he won't come back again,

they should figure it out themselvs

  5. Just straight out tell her - no matter how hard it is. It would be worse to lie, and just put off telling it. You'll have to tell her sooner or later, realize that. When you tell her, be prepared because she is going to be VERY upset. Also, think about adopting another rabbit, but don't think of the new bunnie to be taking the place of the old bunnie!!

    :)

  6. be honest and tell her the rabbit has died, she will thank you for it when she is older.

  7. when my rabbit died, i told my sister that my rabbit went to the vet because she got very sick and needed to be taken care of.

  8. just say, you know how when animals are old they cant live forever, well [rabbit] has gone to heaven.

well it's not too gruesome and shouldnt make her that upset.

  9. Depending on how young your Sister is,

If she's 2-6 I'd tell her that the rabbit went away to a better place, Like a rabbit holiday it'll never return from.

Any older I'd be honest, but tell her that the rabbit passed away happy.

  10. Be honest but gentle. Tell her that the rabbit has died/gone to heaven/passed away/whatever term you choose, and remind her that where (s)he is, (s)he is happy, pain-free, etc.

After that, just be willing to talk with her about it, maybe bring up a happy memory of the rabbit, that kind of thing. I've noticed that talking about a pet or loved one really helps speed the healing process after a loss.

  11. i'm sorry to hear about the rabbit, you could either just tell her and say that its gone to a better place and things like that or you could tell her and get a new rabbit which might make it easier to get over its death. or depending on your sisters age, you could get a new rabbit that looks the same and pretend its the same one.
