Question:

My rabbit got out of her cage and i noticed that she had a chunk of fur missing, is it normal?

the next day i cleaned her potty area and i noticed that there was a large stand of fur and there where a few bloody spots.

  1. if she is otherwise acting ok I would just keep an eye on her and not take her to vet just yet.  sometimes when rabbits clean themselves they pull at the fur and it comes out

  3. If she got out of her cage inside then she probably snagged herself on exiting the cage, check it and make sure it stopped bleeding and clean it following that put some antibacterial ointment on it.

    If she got out, outside then she could have gotten attacked by another animal, in that case call the vet for an opinion. It would be a good idea to clean it and check it prior so that you can give your vet an accurate description.
