i got two rabbits.one is 3 months old and the other one is 2 and a half months old.the eldest one is sick.at first, the hair around her nose fell out and now it's the area around her eyes that is being affected.previous rabbit owners have said that this is normal and i should not be worried about it.she's eating fine and drinking fine.but i'm really worriedher real skin is now showing off and it looks like dry, red, flesh around the eye and nose area.what to do?the other rabbit is alos getting the disease too.

there are no vets here in our area.i've asked our neighbors where to find a vet but none of my neighbors know one.what to do?

if you don't know, please just place some sites about rabbit sickness that i may refer to.

i need your help.please don't ignore my question.

  1. dont worry it will grow back =] my rabbit missing hair on its jaw now it growin

  2. I'm not all that knowledgeable about rabbit health yet, but my top concern would by ringworm.  It's contagious and can spread to other animals and to you.  You really need a vet to examine them.

Do  you mean there are no vets that see rabbits, or no vets in general?  Even a regular vet could take a look at your rabbit and hopefully help out.  Especially if they are willing to research.  Call around to neighbouring communities and see if they have any good vets.

This site may have some vet listings in your area:
