  1. From the experiance with my three rabbits they will not eat anything that will harm them.

My three eat paper ,cardboard ,tey have like grain and seed in their mix.

Also the birds seem to eat my left over rabbit food too.

My rabbits also eat their own poo which i have been told is natural becuase it has vitimin b12 which rabbits cant get from food.

Anyways they wouldnt eat anything like that if it was bad for them.

  2. How Cute! Rabbits are naturally roaming inquisitive foragers. Just so you know, ANYTHING found on the floor (or within the height of them standing on their hind legs) is subject to their food/not food examination. Pieces of paper, pens, pencils, cables, cords, wires, pillows, rugs, carpets, other pet food, books, plastic bags, stuffed animals, shoes, shoe laces, socks, etc, a little birdseed shouldn't hurt  your lop.

Casual nibbling is so normal for them that if they ever stopped doing it THAT would be a sign of trouble.

It is good to be alert however to equally protect your things from damage and your lop from a tummy ache.

  3. No dont be worried. I have a lop, and she eats all she can eat, including mud! LOL. Think about rabbis in the wild. They ahve to survive on their own. Rabbits are used to eating anything they can get their paws on. If your rabbit changes it's habits, like doesnt eat or drink and is laying about with its eyes closed, then be worried she may have got something from the pelet. I doubt anythign will happen though :-)

  4. I dont think it should be a problem

  5. My rabbits LOVE birdseed, and I feed them black oil sunflower seeds as treats!

  6. Nope, I don't think that will harm your rabbit at all.

  7. no it won't hurt her, we used to have a big Avery with finches and rabbits on the bottom they used to eat the seed and it did them no harm, in fact the oils from the seed used to help their coat shine, but i would not recommend feeding her seed long term,  but it won't do her any harm if she eats it when she is in your room

  8. It should not be a problem at all
