Question:

My rabbit keeps coughing/sneezing?

i put her in the garden as usual but for some reason every now and again she makes a noise, she has never done this before, its not really a sneeze or a cough, its sort of both of them. she is feeding babies at the moment who are 3 weeks old, its was their first time outside today, its not cold at all outside, in fact its a very nice, sunny day. i really dont understand why she is making this noise, please help

  1. My rabbit did that like last year,but the next day it went away. If it doesnt you should take it to the vet just to be safe.


  2. Well I know my rabbit gets colds a lot and sneezes, but will always eventually get over it. Sometimes rabbits make a grunt type noise, when they are angry or defensive. If it is not one of these I'm not sure. If you are worried about her I would call and ask your vet if it is anything to be concerned about.

  3. Crazy answer here but...............maybe your rabbit has allergies. Have you been having a dry spout where you are that the pollen would be building up?

  6. Probably an allergie to something in the garden.

    Have you put down garden mulsh or fertilizer recently?

    Or srpayed the lawn for grubs?

  7. Too much pepper in their carrot soup.
