  1. Your rabbit needs to see a small animal specialist, usually 24 hours veterinary hospitals have one on staff unless you are in a small town. Rabbits & guinea pigs are prone to respiratory infections and need treatment immediately, especially rabbits. Rabbits are pretty hardy but with respiratory infections they can die within 24 hours if not treated. Good luck to your bunny.

  2. Your rabbit either has the 'snuffles', it's like a rabbit cold or else allergies. Either way they will have to see a vet to confirm which one it. Snuffles can kill a rabbit if not treated.

  3. hello there

    i think that is a cold.did you,by any chance,bathe your rabbit?or did it got exposed to a cold temperature?if so,then i'm sure it is a cold.

don't let it be for granted.either place a heating pad in its cage or take it to the vet for medicine.don't worry.it is not so serious but if you don't do anything,it might get worse.

    ggod luck!  Ã¢Â˜Â¼

  4. may be snuffles. mine has it right now and is on antibiotics. his symptoms are gone. go to the vet as soon as possible. tell them that you think he has snuffles

  5. Snuffles is a bacterium that lives in the upper respiratory tract of rabbits. All rabbits tend to have it but it doesn't cause any symptoms unless the rabbit becomes stressed or unwell.

The symptoms are usually sneezing and a discharge from the nose and sometimes the eyes. If your bunny is sneezing

regularly and wiping it's nose with it's paws, s/he probably has Pasteurella.

Snuffles can be treated with antibiotics, such as Baytril. See your vet if you think that your bunny has Snuffles as the

condition is very uncomfortable for them but can be easily treated.

Snuffles is infectious to other rabbits so if you have more than one bunny, it's best to separate the patient until they have

    finished their course of antibiotics.

  6. Maybe allergies if the hay is dusty.  It could also be a sinus infection or snuffles.  If there is discharge out of the nose then it is most likely snuffles.

  7. sounds like snuffles you will need to get her to the vets today
