My rabbit never sleeps?

Question

i have a bunny, and i have never seen her sleep, she is up all day, up at night time and i go to bed around 11 at night.

even if i come down stairs at 2 in the morning she is still awake.

she lays down alot, but i have never seen her properly sleep.

she must sleep right?

They do sleep, just not when you're watching.  Rabbits are prey animals and extremely light sleepers, in the wild this helps them avoid being eaten in their sleep.  The smallest noise will wake them up, that's why you can't ever 'catch' her asleep!

they doze, wild rabbits don't sleep that much either, bc of predetors. they spend most of their time foraging. that and at 2 in the morning you prabably wake her up, the have very good ears that why they so long

This is normal! Most rabbits sleep with their eyes open. My rabbit does- and it used to freak me out for the longest time. Rabbits that are asleep with their eyes open usually slow down their breathing and twitch. As the other answers have said, rabbits also have very good ears and will hear you walking up to check on them, which will wake them up. The reason for this? Rabbits are prey animals so they have to be alert 24/7 in case something tries to eat them. As for the rabbit staying up at night, that too is completely normal. Rabbits sleep during the day, to avoid other predators who area awake at night.

it's the same with my rabbit

she never actually closes her eyes fully because this is how rabbits are programmed to act.i actually have only seen her with her eyes fully closed and sleeping at about 4:00am when i was getting home from midnites

I've never seen my rabbit sleep either.  Don't worry - It's normal.  Rabbits don't get and don't need much sleep.  Most of the time they just lie down and relax with their eyes half open - this is their relax/sleep time.

ya they dont, i have never seen my ones sleep either, except when they were babies

may be they sleep until their eyes r opened

when they were babies all they did was  sleep, but nw no one sleeps
