  1. it no like u?

  2. I have been keeping rabbits and guinea pigs for nearly ten years until all of them passed away. My observation is that your rabbit might have injured itself somehow so it feels pain whenever you try to touch her. Try patting her on the forehead first and assure her with some soft words before you hold her.

  3. Apparently a rabbit can be pregnant for about 12 months if required, although the usual gestation period is 29 -44 days (tending to normally be 31 days).  If they are not happy with there environment / don't feel that it is safe they won't give birth so maybe that could be the reason!?!?

If not maybe she is having a phantom pregnancy!?

  4. Most rabbits do not like being picked up or held. She probably did not feel secure and wanted to be put down.

    Neutering may help too.

  5. Sounds like it is being teritory of its space.. Try not to bother it for a day, see what happens..

  6. Well, if it bit you; you should kick it's fury little @ss.

  7. Well, if it's only 4 months old, Chances are its NOT pregnant. Especially if it hasnt been around other rabbits in 2 months, then it definately is not pregnant. How to tell if it is a female? Well if it IS 4 months, it should have its uh "boys" if you know what I mean. If you can, flip it over on its back, and look between its back legs, if it has its boys, it's a boy, if theres nothing there, then its a girl. As for being the way she's acting, it could be a number of things. You can baby a rabbit all you want, but every rabbit is different, so doesnt matter how much love and attention you give, they could just have bad temperments. To pick the rabbit up, grab it by the scruff of the neck and get it out of its cage. As for the biting, sounds like she might be gettin closer to the age where she wants to be bred. Gettin a rabbit fixed wouldnt always solve this problem. If theres a certain toy she has and is protective of, then you may need to remove it. I have a male who is very protective over his pinecone.. So he's not allowed to have one when he lunges and bites when I get close to it, when he shows improvement he can have it back.

  8. is it a girl? Maybe she's pregnant!!

  9. eat'em

  10. how old is it? it might be reaching maturity.

when my rabbit hit "puberty" she started biting everything.

it stopped after she got fixed. maybe call the house rabbit society. they should be able to tell you more.

  11. Listen.

All Animals Especially Rabbits have periods. Yes boy rabbits have them too. they like not to be touched. if they are in this kind of time. Just give it a little time.

    Hope This Helps!!!

  12. Okay so here is how you can tell its gender::

Flip your rabbit onto its back. To do this, place your index finger between the rabbit's ears and grasp the base of the head with your thumb on one side and your other three fingers on the other. With your other hand, either cradle the rump or grab the spot between the hind legs and the belly (loin). Scoop the rabbit up.

Hold it. Once you have flipped your rabbit, place it between the arm holding the head and your body. Let go of the rump. Your rabbit should be secure in one arm.

Wrap your fingers, excluding the thumb, around the tail. Place your thumb above the genitals and gently pull towards the head. If it is a male, its genitals will look like this: (o) and if it is a female, its genitals will look like this: (|). You have just sexed your rabbit.

Pet problems::If it's a Female Now I'm not quite sure if Bunnys have a Period but if they do then she might be getting it.If not then she/he is probably just getting older.

  13. Well, i had a rabbit once and did the same things that you described. Is it a boy? Mine was, and we figured out that he was just, "horney." He wanted to have baby bunnies!! We gave him to a farm and he mated with like every girl bunny..

Anyway, maybe you should go to the vet. Maybe its something that you are feeding him.

    Good luck,

    Hope this helps!
