  1. Well, try holding them a little bit tighter. Rabbits like to feel secure. The other thing is your rabbit will squirm and squirm until it get tired and gives up. Once it gives up you can stroke them. Each day to the same thing and soon your rabbit should stop fighting you.

  2. Well, I'm glad you asked! Rabbits are prey animals, and many hate to be held, or dislike it, because they feel like their trapped. Your bunnies sound adorable though! Mine does similar things!

What breeds do you have? Holliee, is a Black and White Dutch bunny, supposedly dutches have a great personality, and I've seen it to be true.

It's possible it could be the breed of bunny, they just prefer to be petted, but not held.

however, a good way to hold them, is support them with your hand, but leave your other hand free, so they can 'excape' if they want.

What I would do is every time they squirm, hold them till they quite, then set them back in the cage, try this every few hours or so, til lthey get used to you.

If they don't squirm at all praise them, and then put them down, and pet them, this is rewarding them, and lettign them know their free, and when they don't scatch, they get set down.

This is what I strongly reccomend doing, and I hope it works for you! However, if it doesn', then email me anytime and I'll help!

  3. hi there!! the best way to spend time with them is to get a seat and sit at there hutch and they will climb all over you! but its on there own terms if you do this for a while they will learn till trust you and feel happy in your arms!!  good luck

  4. let them play in ur room or somewhere else. let them come up to u. get a treat that they realy like and let them eat out of ur hand. while they are eating pet them and see if they will run away. pet them for a while and then when u think they have earned ur trust see if they will pick them up. put ur hand out so they can sniff it. then slowly try picking them up, but dont force it.
