  1. I think you saw a bulging disc, and that you indeed have herniation and sciatica, caused by a strain injury.

Get another opinion.  Radiologists and doctors are not always on your side, if the matter is contentious.

  2. i don't know what state you are in but most of them have a limit for how long one has to wait until they can move their medical care away from the company appointed doctors.  In most cases it is three to six months.  You are either there now or fast approaching it.  Read the worker's compensation handbook that you were given and find out what the restrictions are in your area.  If you have past that period of time where you must stay with the appointed doctors find your own.  Find a radiologist that is not on the list of doctors that the compensation companies use.  To do this get a lawyer that specializes in workman's compensation cases.  They will be able to direct you to the proper physicians.  If they find something wrong then proceed with the proper care.  If on the other hand nothing is found then there is nothing to the case.  You have to remember finding a bulge doesn't mean that it corresponds to what you are presenting as a complaint.  You can be born with a bulge and never know it.  So read the handbook and if you are eligible go to another doctor after seeing a worker's compensation lawyer.

  3. I think you are hoping to get something for nothing.

  4. Radiologist has many years of experience on reading MRI's. You state a bulge, so I assume you are a qualified Radiologist? Moreover the Doctor you saw who stated it is a bulge is a qualified radiologist? In fact do you know at what Disc the bulge is? Your Doctor who saw it would have stated. Likewise how big is the bulge? Best of Luck

  5. I think you seriously need to get a second opinion or even a third.  Maybe a slipped disk, pinched nerve even.  Get it looked at again even if it costs you because if they are wrong you can have them pay fo it.  Maybe they are not being honest like you said, an insurance lie so they don't have to pay.  For yours and your familys sake and health get someone else to look at it ASAP.  Trust no one.

  6. You should be entitled to a second opinion.  Now that you have it, I would think you should have a good case

  7. You need to get a second opinion. Company doctors are paid to minimize injuries IF they MANGAGE to find anything wrong at all. That's why they're scum. He probably lied to you to save the company the hassle... that's his job!!!. Go to a second physician and tell him what the first doctor said. It will motivate him to find out what is really going on with you then you can get all the comp you deserve.
