My ramshorn snail's shell is beginning to crack- what can I di to make him healthier? can a shell be replaced?

ok what i've found is cracked shells are in deed bad... and you can fix the crack with superglue, dry the shell off and apply a 'sheen' of superglue to the crack and even the exposed flesh...

they also make special glues/expoxys just for this (the one exactly for this is super glue, just in a gel form so it's easier to work with)

and snails do transfer shells (not sure if your species does or not) put some larger shells in the tank with it and he might leave the smaller one.
