i have a koral rashguard t-shirt, my aunt put it in tumble dryer(although im sure it was already dry) she's an idiot as i explained it to her a couple times. its 83% polyamide & 17% spandex. Will it effect its wicking ability now or anything? has it changed its knitted structure etc? If not what could happen to it if tumble dried wet? this time it appears to be same size....

  1. It should be okay,  just don't try not to do it too often. It cause the spandex to break down especially in hot temperatures.

  2. This fabric is good specifically for it's wicking ability and durability in the laundering process.  If it has only been dried once or twice it really shouldn't hurt it.  It does tend to get misshapen like regular cotton if dried to hot. However, if it looks good still, chances are it will still preform the same way it always did.
