My rat is pregnant?

With animals like rats it's best to leave them to do their stuff during the birth. Too much human interference could do more harm then good.

DON'T TOUCH THE BABIES FOR A WHILE!!!! If you do, your scent will rub onto them and the mom will eat them. Sad but true. If you need to pick them up to move them or something, use a glove!! Other than that, let the momma do her thing.

And if you are planning to get rid of them, put up an ad on Craigslist now, and say when they will be ready. Don't give them away free or they may end up as snake feeders! Try to adopt them out in pairs. Charge an adoption fee maybe $5-$15 each. What ever price you think, but donate all the  proceeds to you nearest animal shelter or rescue!!
