My rats wee everywhere and it smells bad!?

Question

I have too female rats called Nibbler and Snooty. I know that rats can't control their bladders so I don't blame them but they seem to wee excessively. I bought some stuff from the U.S that you put in the water and it helps the smell but it hasn't worked.I struggle to leave them with poeple when I go away as they smell within a day. Any ideas?

try a litter with deoderizer built in

If you go to the pet store you can buy a deodorizer and give it to the people who are watching them so it doesnt smell bad

i also have rats, if they smell its due to the food you are giving them, female rats should not smell that much, try changing the food and also put a tiny amount of salt in the water, and some scented bedding will also help,

Im not sur it wil work with rats but, it work on my gerbails.Put loads and loads of sawdust down.
