She had nine puppies and I'm not sure what kinds of shots to give them and at what age to give them. They are 3 weeks and 2 days old. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. i know GET YOUR DOG SPAYED

  2. Do we really need more pit bulls?  Have you seen the shelters flooding with them?  2 in every 3 dogs in pounds are pitbulls and pit bull mixes.  Your killing the dogs.  If you don't know what the pups even need, you know nothing.

  3. not for a few more weeks but you need to check with vet for what is happening in your area, the immunity ofyour ***** and when he suggests.

Okay you don't know if dog is in heat, how often, or what to do, or you think your dog is pregnant, when its ready to give birth etc etc etc ?

If you are asking this question you MUST read up and have material on hand and if your dog gives birth.  If you are in time sensitive situation  check your library or local bookstore!

This book is a good one.

YOU NEED to get educated and FAST as pregnancies are only 63 days and it GOES fast.Build a list of three books and go pick them up locally or order from my site which whatever. If your dog is birthing or just given birth it is not to late as the best books deal with care afterwards of mom and pups.

Just get some material to have on hand! Find a mentor in real life someone that has gone through this before.

  4. 7 weeks are the ideal age to give shots. Take them to the vet, and they will get shots and a worming. They will get parvo and canine distemperment vaccinations.

  5. Talk to your vet - if you don't have one, get one as the puppies and mother need to have marginal medical care.  Also, get her spayed so you don't make another litter of poorly bred, unwanted dogs to add to the body piles of millions each year.   You bred a litter without even knowing the basics so the odds are they are very poorly bred on face.  Sorry but you are definitive the reason for the millions that die each year.

  6. talk to your vet about it. but they are usually given the 5 in 1 shot:parvo, corona virus, bordetella,etc.. and you need to get them de-wormed as well. after your dog is done with this litter think about getting her spayed, if you dont know what puppies  need to be healthy you dont know how to breed responsibly.

  7. first they and mom should be wormed at 2,4,6,8 and 10 weeks.

They should get first vaccines at 6 weeks old all this should be gotten at the vets.

The pups should be started on a very mushy puppy food ( dry) This should be started at 4 weeks old.

I take mom away at night and then give the pups the mush first thing in the morning let them eat for about 15 min. Then let mom back in with them to finish what food they haven't eaten and nurse the pups. Remove her again about 2-3 hours beforeafternoonn feeding and do the same and then feed and let mom in before bed to nurse for at least 1/2 hour to 45 min andseparatee.

Please DO NOT get over the counter wormer they don't work and a waste of money
