Question:

My refridgerator now gathers pools of water in the bottom underneath the vegetable bins - why?

We've had the thing for ten years or better and its just started doing this. Any ideas on the cause?

  1. Sounds like you may have a hole or a tear in the door seal, this allows room air to get in and the moisture in the air causes condensation and that drawer just happens to be the lowest point in the floor of the refrigerator.


  2. pull out the shelves and if you look on the back wall you will find a recess that has standing water in it at the bottom of that puddle is a small hole that is a drain with a small s***w driver or a wire coat hanger clear out the hole till the water drains out
