My refrigerator has stopped working?

I have a Frigidaire Electrolux, side by side. First it started making this loud buzzing or humming noise and then the freezer stopped working and then the frig stopped working. This has taken a couple of months.We keep it plugged in and it will start working again. The loud buzzing noise last about 5 seconds at a time. Every 5 or 10 minutes it starts buzzing again. I can hear the gentle hum of the fan. The ice maker was the first thing we noticed not working but it too will work occasionally. I've heard it could be the relay switch. The frig is only 5 years old. I don't know how long the warranty is on this.

You have so many intermittant problems it seems like it has to be some kind of a controller issue.  Try going to:

and maybe write to the Repair Guru describing the issues you are having.

tell the person in charge of the building or if u live in a house, call the serivce pplsz tat fix those things to come check it out

It will take a service person to chase the problem down. It could be a relay, your defroster, loose coil, loose line or the compressor.
