My registered mail from U.S. is stuck in Canadian customs?

I have a registered mail (package) from U.S. that's stuck in Canadian Customs.

I have been keeping track of it, but it's been 2 weeks since it arrived at the Customs.

Is this usual?

Its not unusual.  I find that packages from anywhere else in the world other than North America, seem to arrive without delays.  Since you can track it, possibly you can contact whoever it was shipped with to follow it up for you.
