My relationship has just broken up?

and I don't want to loose the money we spent on a holiday in a months time. Should I just go alone for the two weeks or am I likely to be miserable.....

Personally, I wouldn't go on that trip.........guaranteed it would be spoiled for you because you'd be thinking about how nice it could have been if things had been different!

If you took out cancellation insurance, I'd probably request a refund if the agency will do that for you.........if they won't refund, see if you can just rebook to a different destination on a different date and find a friend who would like to go with you.

In a months time you may feel better but you can always refund the trip and spend it on something else.

The only way to cure a broken heart is to either mend it with your ex, or by being around close friends. Try being around someone else that is close to you. The last things I would want to do is be alone.
