Just one of tires got a blowout by unknown object on freeway at night, and I changed a spare tire now. Should I fix or change it by myself for the less cost? If so, How? And how much will they charge that to me if I return it just as is (2007 basic mini cooper) I didn't buy any insurance for the rent car when Iend it, but I made a payment by visa credit card. and I heard about something insurance in visacard when I lend a car. Any idea?

  1. yeah if it is late in the night

  2. if they company had any brains at all it would pay the extra 20 a car a tire company would charge to insure the fleets tires. but if not its really your fault for not paying the extra insurance on a rent a car. And  the 'something' you may have heard reguarding the visa card is that when you rent a car and they have your card number and they find something you wrong you caused to the card they will probably charge you for it. So yeah next time get the insurance.

  3. The rental co. should have 'road hazard' warranty on their tires.Give'em a call & ask.
