My return ticket to Istanbul is on October 28, my duration of stay to October 27, how to be???

Hello, I came from Istanbul to U.S for the 6 month on April 28, and get a ticket for return on October 28 electronic ticket, nonrefundable, immigration officer gave me duration of stay to October 27, I tried explain to officer, that my return ticket on 28 th, but she said, its your bussines... Unfortunatelly, I dont have enough money to get another ticket, and I dont want to be illegal too, becouse I wish to come to U.S sometimes again... how to be in this situation, I hope somebody can help me in this situation...Thanks in advance for your help and helpfull advices....

One possibility is to try and change your flight.

It is less of a problem to change a return flight

than the original.  Worst case, it will cost you

some money, but it might not.  You don't have

to buy a whole new ticket.

If you cannot do that, then you can apply for

an extension of your visa.

If that fails, too, go to the airport on the 27th,

and try to pass through emigration before midnight.

That would be a last desperate move.

You can probably change your flight or

get a short visa extension, especially if you

only ask for 1 day or 1 week.
