  1. You can go up to 23c if there is sufficient clearance in the frame. Depending on your bike it might be prettttty close.


  2. Yes. My bike came with 700 x 23c and I removed them and fitted 700 x 20c so you can use either. I should point out that the difference between the two is micrometres- it's miniscule and frame clearance won't be an issue.

  3. As they have said, 700c 23s should fit.  Take your bike down to your local shop.  They should have a set of wheels with 700-23s.  Pop them on to see what happens.

  4. Virturally all road bikes will fit 23s no problem. And yes a 17mm wide rim will take a 23 as well. The difference between a 20 and 23 tire is 3 mm, to clear up any confusion about it.
