  1. they are being territorial.

try 2 make something 2 separate them in the same cage so that it doesnt keep happening because eventually 1 of them is going to kill the other.

  2. hamsters are not meant to be put into one cage unless for having, well s*x, and not to males, they fight for whos best, so its best not to keep them both, they curl up sleeping coz there is no where else to sleep and they cbb to fight no more lol

  3. Hamsters are Nocturnal. THey sleep all day and are awake all night. Try to put them in another room if it bugs you that much. They will not stop. Or try to sleep with a music player on. so yo dont hear them. There is nothing wrong with 2 males being in one cage... They are like that at the pet store. Its fine.

  4. Are they both from the same litter? How old are they? Serious fighting can happen sometimes among dwarfs if they are not from the same litter and if they have been introduced to each other after they have become adults.

Though it is very rare for two robo males to have serious fights, if you note that they are fighting very seriously and are having scratches and bloody injuries on their fur, wise thing for you to do would be to separate them before their fight turns vicious.

If they are not hurting each other, but just indulge in a lot of squeaking, it is only playfighting which is very common among dwarf hamsters when they try to establish their domination. Of course you will hear lots of fighting only at night since they are nocturnal and are active at night and sleep during daytime.

One thing you can do to ease this fight is to provide two of all their equipment - exercise wheel, food dish, water bottle etc. -  so that they can avoid fighting when both want to do the same thing at the same time.

However if you feel their fighting is real serious, then separate them immediately. You can look at low cost cage options like bin cages in that case. This link would be useful for making bin cages at home -

  5. It is possible they are just wrestling.  Its play fighting that determines dominancy.
