Thanks for giving us the color of your roof, that is a very important bit of information. i'd like to know a few other things before making recommendations; for instance...the style of your home, it's size and if it's in the country, suburbs or city. Is there brick or stonework? Which direction does it face? What colors are neighboring houses and what are community standards. Painting your house is more than "what color do I like", there are a lot of factors which help you eliminate the not-so-good choices and enable you to focus on the few really good ones which bubble up to the surface. Trust me, the answers will reveal themselves if you approach the paint question like a flow chart. Generally, those homes with charcoal roofs can take just about any color...I know that answer doesn't help you narrow it down but it does give you a wide range of choices which will be tempered by the other questions I mentioned earlier. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. I think anything will go with gray. A dark brown like "iron gate" (# 2926) might be nice.
