My room is yellow and I don't know what color would go well with it.?

Could someone please give me a couple ideas? Please show a couple of pictures with your suggestion.

well i' m a teenager so yeah i have a fun bright room these are the colors it is. so the walls are light pink and it has a blue stripe and a darker pink stripe. i have yellow drapes. white window frames....my bed is like this shag purple comforter, i have a green bed skirt, white carpet and a light brown night stand and dresser.......it all seems to look good together...but its definitely one of those BRIGHT teen rooms, it might not be practical for an older person.

i wuold say brown

but then you would have a potty colored room

unfortunatly i dont have pictures

but a pastel green would go great with yellow,

also pastel blues and pinks

or all of them!!

These are the colour of Provence, you could hang a picture of a lavender field on the wall , fill a clear glass vase with some lavender, and a white sheer on the window, you will feel fresh and you will imagine yourself in a lavender field in Provence France I will look for a picture just to give you the feel of it !

turquoise and orange are good ways to acessorize and gives you a happy tropical feel

try out this site....

you get to choose which room looks like yours, and then you can choose what yellow is most similar to the one in your room...

it'll give you examples of colors that go well with it and you can see how it looks on the walls, ceiling, trim, and even pillows, curtains, etc.

think pastels, easter, pastel greens, blues, pinks. And if it is neon yellow  than pretty much any other neon color.

Blue compliments yellow very well with white thrown in.

I suggest taking a sample of the yellow to a local hardware or paint store, they can show you complimentary colors there.
