My room needs a makeover? Any ideas?

I am 12 years old and my bedroom feels like I'm in a mental hospital. The walls are white and my bedset is to girly- it is pink with frills and flowers (eeew)! My mom chose out the stuff and I didn't want to hurt her feelings cause she thinks that she knows me when she has no clue what I am like! I allready chose out the wall colors witch are hot pink and dark purple so I need some ideas on how to redecorate! I am kinda into themed rooms so I guess I am into music, hip hop and jazz, dance/cheer, and invader zim! So any ideas or suggestions- I am on a tight budget! My friends all agree that I need a total room makeover since that is where I spend most of my time. I also love candels and things that are relaxing so I need a room a little dark but not gloomy and I can't stand bright colors! I need help fast so help me please!

You should go with a morrocan theme because you spend most of your time in your room and you could put big pillows in you room. Candles are perfect too. Your walls are great. You should have your room show your personality to the max! Since you are on a tight budget then don't spend a lot of money on little things like candles and other decorations. Instead spend a little more on your bed spread. You could also put nice rugs on you floor, oh and it is important to have a nice chair. It should be one that can fit in your room, that you love, and that has fabric that you can't get enough of. Everyone needs a nice place in their room (or in their house) that they can relax in.

Ok one last tip. Since you're on a budget, the way to shop is to shop at the right places. Go shopping at cheaper, more affordable places instead of the once that will leave you broke.

Yes i am agree with your idea pink combain with dark blue, i that is nice color tone and put some candle there
