My roses are dying. what should i do?

my boyfriend bought me roses. i cut the ends off a lil bit and i put them in water. but they look like they are dying. ive had them for 2 days only. what should i do??

Cut the stems back with a very sharp blade like a fresh boxcutter. Put fresh water in the vase as hot as your tap runs. Add a little alcohol or anti-bacterial soap to control stem rot.

change the water and add an asprin.

cut the end of the stem at slant angle. change the water , filled the vase with 1 part of softdrink and 3 part of water. (ps: don't use cola or coloured drink, use the clear soft drink 7 up)
