Well.

I run the 100m in a time of 13.8 seconds.

Which in m/s goes to a total of 7.22m/s.

I always come first in the heats, but in the finals i have trouble.

I'm wondering what is the BEST possible way to get faster.

My 200m running speed is very slow, so i also want to know how i can get a faster 200m speed. I run the 200m in 29 seconds. (10 seconds slower then Usain Bolt :P)

Anyway, any suggestions?

  1. to get faster on your 200 you should try running the 300m 3-5 times a day and 3 100m a day. the 100 meter runs are for maintaining your speed and making your 100 faster. the 300s are for gaining endurence so that you dont get as tiered during your 200meter run. if you do the 100s and 300s every day for 4-5 times a week by the time track season starts you will shave off at least half a second off of your 100 and at least 1 second off of your 200. (it may not sound like that much but for the 100 and 200 thats a pretty big improvement. good luck

  2. ask the question again and  include your age and I'd be happy to give some good advice...

  3. There's really only two things - training and shoes.

    So I'd say keep training.
