Hi, I have 2 of these plants, and I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but they look terrible! The do not bush out like they should but kind of sag and twist around. I have tried to use a support ring, and they still don't look so hot. Also when should I dead head them?

Every year I am trying to figure out what to do with these plants! Any kind of advice is appreciated!

thanks...

  1. According to my Houseplant book....

Salvia should be grown in indoor generald potting mix. Add limestone to reduce acidity (if nesseccary) Trim regularly to contain height and encourage new growth and bushiness.

Fertilize at half recommended strength every 2-4 weeks when growth is bigorious. Every 4-8 weeks during winter.

    Bright Light

Partly Dry soil (allow it to ALMOST dry in between waterings)

    Tempretatures: Best in 60-75 degrees

  2. They may be underwatered or overwatered. They may also have either too much sun or too little. Deadhead them after they flower/
