My samsung hdtv...help plz?

ok so i have my tv, im looking around it, i can see all connection ports for hdmi and scart cables etc... but on the top left hand side there is a gap, i cannot figure out for the life of me what it is for and i cant find anything online, its almost as if a hard drive is meant to be inserted or something. does anyone have an idea as to what it is, thanks.

Actually, it is what it looks like..... a port for a hard drive.  Some models are equipped with a built in dvr, which is nothing more than a hard drive with huge memory capacity.  The manufacturer will use the same mold for different model numbers as a cost savings technique.
