My sansa View gets really hot when it is plugged in to my TV?

I recently bought an A/V out cable for my sansa view. it works great, but the player heats up when it is connected. I just want to know if this is normal or if it is something to worry about. If it is a problem I can get it exchanged.

Yes, that's normal, however I would try to cool it as much as possible
