My satellite provider is DIRECTV, but I'm only given Dish providers in the dropdown to set up my listings.

Is there a way to work around this, or will Yahoo fix it?

  1. That doesn't make any sense.  If you're provider is DirecTV, you HAVE to use a DTV receiver to recieve programming.  The technology is proprietary.  Unless you have some sort of rogue system.

Are you perhaps referring to something else?  Like programming listings on the Yahoo website?  Is that it?  If so, then you may just have to mentally adjust the information you see on your computer screen to what appears in your DTV program cuide on the TV screen.  For example, if the Oregon State v. Maryland game is showing on Dishnet channel 140 (ESPN), then just go to DirecTV channel 206 (ESPN) because the programming is identical for the channel, just the numbers are different.

Hope that helps.  If not, please give more information.
