I know she is sick, but i'm not sure what she has. She is 2 years old and has been fine up till now. Any help would be appreciated.

  1. my black throat monitor went through the same thing a couple of months ago, after three days or so it passed.  I had him schedualed to go to the vet, but then he just stopped.  he is fine now, just keep an eye on your lizard, sounds like it just has a cold.  Yes it happens, if you are really concerned then take it to the vet otherwise just let it run it's course.

  2. It sounds like an upper respiratory infection...very serious.  She really needs to see an experienced herp vet right away.   You really need to check her setup for correct heat/light/humidity...anything not right will lead to illness.

  3. Please scheduale an appointment with your vet ASAP, it may be a respatory infection witch can be taken care of fairley easily if taken care of early if you let it go and it is a respatory infection your monitor will most likely die. Please dont wait and see if it passes take it to vet.
