My school dance is tomarrow and the theme is party like a rockstar i woas wondering how to dress cuz idk?

I usually see the preps wearing the formal shirt (with collar and buttons) underneath another t-shirt. The collar of the formal shirt is popped up like 80s style and if it's a long sleeve shirt, then roll it up. Wear some jeans, add several belts, wristbands (if you have them) and a cap turned to the side!!

that's a popular look i always see. Or just wear some cool aviator shades you can get from the dollar store with a cap to the side. Maybe have a tie like AVril Lavigne used to wear.

ahaha ok...theres differnt type of rock stars easiest way is do the late 80's early 90's rockstar. If you ever saw waynes world somthing like that. Since your a girl it might even be easier. Just kinda think punk. Put lots of make up like heavy eye liner on red lip stick. If you have any punk outfits perferably blackish maybe with a giant skull or somthing. Kinda even a little gothic. put a black headband on and if your really feelin it bring a toy guitar or eaiser pair of drum sticks. Try and also make your hair a little messy like you just came out of an intense song.

At my school dances we had themes but noone dressed them. We just wore whatever dress we wanted to. I'm wondering if this is how it is for you or if you have to dress the theme? If everyone does dress the theme, is it formal or more like a theme party?
