My school has an organization dedicated to helping Uganda. Is it sad that its members can't find it on a map?

The organization is called "Schools for Schools" and its dedicated to helping Ugandan children. Its been in session for a while now (almost 3 months) and at the last meeting, someone asked where Uganda was. The president actually had to look it up.

Is that not sad? Shouldn't we know a teeny bit about the country we're trying to save or does no one really care?

Definetly. I think there should have been a little more time in researching the place before you dedicate in helping it...

Errrr.......... Try looking outside of the US of A and you'll find Uganda in the continent of Africa. Yes, thats right Africa, where there are elephants, tigers, monkeys..... oh forget it, theres no MacDonalds there, wasting my time trying to explain!

I think that 1st of all, US Americans (and such as) should actually know what a map and such as is 1st and foremost so they could be able to help others such as the Iraq and South America and such as, to find countries on the map such as the Americas and South America and such as... LOL
